Testimonials

“For several years I had been dealing with what I thought was “vertigo.” Terrible balance issues, bouts with Nystagmus, unable to run, ride a bike even climb stairs.  I went to my own doctor, who thought it was a vitamin deficiency.  It wasn’t. I was then passed me off to a neurologist who could find nothing wrong, though clearly saw my symptoms at play. I visited a  number of specialists, both medical and homeopathic, in an effort to understand what was happening to me. Coming to a dead end after several years of trying myself (and my wife’s wonderful stubborn pushing, prodding, and MAKING the appointments), I decided I was destined to live like this (which I had learned to adapt to but was limiting my life).

Along came Suzanne. She told me (no less than 20 times) she was going to help me figure this out.  Once you get to know her, you’ll understand why I relented. Within DAYS of my intake with her, she had an appointment with a  specialist in Boston.  Within 3 weeks, I met with the specialist (with Suzanne in tow) and received a diagnosis and plan.  While my condition is not curable, knowing what was wrong, and having someone in the room who spoke “medical” and had a go-forward plan changed my life.  In less than a month, she was able to get to a point that had stonewalled me and my wife for 5 years! Whether the advocacy is for yourself or someone you love, having someone on your team should be part of navigating your health care going forward.”

“Thank you for your sharing your generous spirit and gift of experience with your community! Without you, I’m not sure how long my daughter would have gone undiagnosed and under treated!”

“I’m a licensed Master’s level Clinician with twenty-five plus years of Clinical experience working in the field of Mental Health. During my career there are few settings I have “not” practiced in, and have, at minimum, an understanding of what those settings involve. These include Hospitals, In patient and Residential facilities, Out Patient and Private Practice, schools, as well as those incarcerated. There is no age range I have not serviced to date.

When I was asked to write on Suzanne’s behalf, I jumped at the opportunity. Much of what I must write is not always pleasant or positive. This recommendation is both.

I met Suzanne Cook a decade ago while working on a school case in the Seacoast area of N.H. Suzanne provided a wealth of insight and observation at that time that proved to be invaluable and made it possible for me to do mine. Suzanne’s medical knowledge makes Suzanne invaluable. However, what I remember most clearly was her delivery. Suzanne is a rare combination of solid medical experience wrapped in compassion for her patients. Suzanne’s ability to connect with, organize, and telegraph information among Providers is the best I’ve ever known and speaks volumes of her commitment to her field.

On a personal note, Suzanne has been a sounding board, friend, and trusted confidante on more occasions than I can count. I have called her over personal issues time and again, and she’s never once failed in her response or wavered in her pursuit of a correct path to wellness once set on it. I will likely ask her for help, and it will be given until her job is done. I would and do recommend Suzanne to anyone needing support without the slightest hesitation. You will be in good hands.”
